Milestone! (More pictures to follow)

Kate is sitting all by herself! For the past 2 weeks, we have been helping her in the sitting position and the past 2 days, she has been doing it all by herself! We started with pillows around her and she would not be scared if she toppled over onto them. Actually, she thought it was pretty cool. Then, she didn't need the pillows and tonight even started putting her hand down if she started to lean over. Such a smart girl! And she is only a little over 5 months!

And another thing she has been doing is blowing raspberries. She starts by sucking on her bottom lip and then blows air though her little lips and sometimes even gives you bubbles. LOVE IT! At least until she tries doing it when I am feeding her cereal. Not so fun!

She is getting herself quite the little personality too. We have so much fun!


Here's a few things that she loves to do right now:

- look at herself in the mirror

- play with her feet

- blow raspberries

- everything goes in her mouth

- rocking in the chair with her favorite pink blanket

- bounce in her jumperoo

- touch your face when you are feeding her a bottle or rocking her to sleep

- listen to her Disney Princess CD. It's personalized and says her name so she looks up to the CD player whenever it calls her name.

- watch the dogs play outside (especially Maya)
