Memorial Day weekend

Kate and mommy decided that we would get away for Memorial Day weekend, so mommy picked Kate up from Mothers Day Out early on Thursday and headed to Branson, Missouri. We met Grammy & Pops there because Pops had a car show in Springfield.
We got to Branson right after Kate woke up from an awesome car nap. We decided that we wanted to go down to the river, so we could:

look at the water

and play on the boat dock

One Friday, Grammy, mommy, & Kate all went to the fish hatchery to see the trout

On Saturday, we went to the Butterfly Palace.

Kate thought that the butterflies were funny as they ate their bananas and oranges.

Not so funny when they landed on her.

Still not a fan of the butterflies landing on her 

Saturday afternoon, we went swimming!

And Sunday, we met Pops in Springfield at the car show 

sitting in Pops' car - Pops won a top 5 award! Way to go Pops!
