Nonnie Visit!!

On 7/26, I told Kate we were going to the airport to look at airplanes and ...

Nonnie (Chris's mom)was there! She flew in to see us and spend a few days.

 On Saturday, we took Nonnie to the beach for a real beach day!

And that night, Nonnie stayed home with the kids while Chris and I got a date night. It's the first one we have had since we have been here in Virginia and we really loved it! Dinner out and a nice walk on the beach with ice cream. Of course there was ice cream!

On Sunday, we went to church and then out to eat for dinner at Bubba's. It's one of our favorites! It's on Shore Drive on the northern side of Virginia Beach and looks over Lynnhaven Bay

On Monday, Daddy had to go back to work, but Nonnie, the kids, and I headed to the beach again.

While Sam was snacking, mommy got a chance to rest and relax.

Sadly, Nonnie had to leave Monday afternoon. Kate did not like it at all.

But she was much better after a trip to Chick-fil-a
