Spaghetti Night

I remember my little brother sitting at the table as a little kid with a clown face of spaghetti - MESSY! MESSY! MESSY! Maybe I have been shying away from the red pasta sauce because of this. Well, I have conquered my hesitation over giving Kate red sauce and we were sure to capture it all  - and yes, we made sure to take off the WHITE shirt she had on.

Happy Halloween!

Tonight we went to our friend's D & J's house for their annual kid-friendly Halloween party. Gotta love a party that starts at 4PM and is over at 8PM, just in time to take a fairy princess home for bed.
Before the trick or treating, we had to play with K's big girl toys. I believe we have a few ideas for some great Christmas presents!

A Day at the Races

So, Pops has bought himself a race car(crazy,right?) and we went out to the Prescott races Saturday to hang out with him.

Our church had a Fall Funfest Wednesday night - basically a huge carnival for the kids. Kate got all dresed up in her fairy princess costume and we were ready to go.

Well ... it finally happened ...

Our first trip to the emergency room - Saturday October 9 - we made it 14 months. Yes, it happened while we were out of town (Grammy, me and Kate were in Branson.) Yes, she is fine, just a bad tumble and a bloody nose. My girl is a tough cookie!!

So, after we left the ER, we went to Chili's for some grilled cheese and we called it a weekend and went home!
