Memorial Day weekend

Kate and mommy decided that we would get away for Memorial Day weekend, so mommy picked Kate up from Mothers Day Out early on Thursday and headed to Branson, Missouri. We met Grammy & Pops there because Pops had a car show in Springfield.
We got to Branson right after Kate woke up from an awesome car nap. We decided that we wanted to go down to the river, so we could:

look at the water

and play on the boat dock

One Friday, Grammy, mommy, & Kate all went to the fish hatchery to see the trout

On Saturday, we went to the Butterfly Palace.

Kate thought that the butterflies were funny as they ate their bananas and oranges.

Not so funny when they landed on her.

Still not a fan of the butterflies landing on her 

Saturday afternoon, we went swimming!

And Sunday, we met Pops in Springfield at the car show 

sitting in Pops' car - Pops won a top 5 award! Way to go Pops!

BCS Fashion Show

Bethany Christian Services had a fundraiser this morning that Kate and mommy were asked to participate in. It was a fashion show and they needed us to be models! So we got all fancied up and strutted our stuff on the runway.

Easter Egg Hunt

Each year, our church does an Easter egg hunt for the kiddos. We went last year, but she was only 8 months old, so she really just sat in her stroller taking in the sights. This year was completely different!! She is an Easter egg hunting pro!

Sunday afternoon, daddy came home from a business trip and Kate and I were off to pick him up at the airport. Kate was in awe of the sirport - so many people, the escalator, and all the suitcases that people had!

Then she got a ride from daddy's suitcase!
